Natural R & R

That's Rights & Responsibilities

Let's remember we have the right to make decisions about our bodies, and a responsibility to be educated consumers- not just drones who put anything and everything in our bodies because some pitchman or magazine article says so. We also should not turn away from a product because the media tells us to either.

The following statements are VERY important!!

*Make no mistake when it comes to using alternative remedies; particularly HERBS, they are powerful healing agents. Most of today's drugs were born of a plant/herb or mineral. These products are nothing to sneeze at.

*One should never use any remedies without thoroughly studying from more than one source. I cannot stress how important it is to educate yourself. Be a wise woman. If we are to keep the right to utilize ancient herbal remedies, we must use them wisely- lest we give the government any ammo to take that right away!

That said...

Alternative remedies (including the ones they say are bad) are a safe and wonderful way to have a better grip on our health and to take responsibility for our well being. The more natural, the better. We are made up of things that come from the Earth, not from the drug companies. It only makes sense that what comes from the Earth is safer and healthier for us than those chemicals with their poisons and side effects.

I am one of those who has fought long and hard NOT to let the FDA regulate them, because when they take away the rights we have over our good health (because we know the DRUG COMPANIES are NOT about our good health), our choices are limited to what the almighty dollar says is good for us.

And so it goes

With great privilege comes great responsibility, my friend. Read about what you put into your body BEFORE you put it there. THAT is your responsibility. Honestly, if more parents asked to see the insert of the vaccines they inject their precious babies with, they might pick up a book then. If they knew they were injecting their little joys with mercury, human fetal tissue (I think I just heard a GASP from a pro-lifer somewhere), egg products (and a vegan), formaldehyde...I could go on, but maybe they'll read it for themselves.

We should ALWAYS be careful. We only have one body. It's also every woman for herself, because we need to educate ourselves on anything we plan on using for our own health.

My gramma used to drive me crazy when she'd go to the doctor, because I'd ask her "Gramma, what meds did the doctor give you?" She's say "Oh something for my liver" or "Something for my diabetes". Well, her meds almost killed her because of that mentality. They interacted and caused a dangerous reaction. I strongly believe it led to the decline in her health that ultimately led to her death.

I am just a big believer in personal responsibility. I am also a believer that medicine has its place...behind all natural options first, or course. When I do have to get a new med, I read the entire insert and I research it on the internet - ALWAYS.

I have started taking some new herbals for female stuff, as I have done for 20+ years. I read everything I could find, from more than one source. It's just about being smart and taking responsibility for your own health.

There are quacks everywhere. None bigger than the ones with an MD behind their names, who just push pills and don't worry so much about actual wellness.

*You must always be willing and able to back up the natural process with a surgical abortion if needed. This is your body. You must take care of it. That means if medical intervention becomes necessary, please do not put yourself in danger. You simply go to your doctor or other health care worker and tell them you are having a miscarriage and they do the rest.
